Import, verify, and recover
What files recognize best?
Prefer the original PDF from the lab or clinic. Keep photos flat, sharp, evenly lit, and fully framed. Avoid glare, shadows, perspective, cropping, and chat-app compression. Import different people, dates, or specimens separately.
Why must I verify every item?
OCR can omit text, join neighboring rows, lose decimals, or misread units and source ranges. Open the original and check every name, result, unit, range, date, and institution before saving.
What if Face ID fails?
Choose System Authentication on the App Lock screen. iOS decides whether to show Face ID, Touch ID, or the device passcode. The app never reads or stores biometric data.
What should I do before reinstalling or moving devices?
Export a password-encrypted core health archive, confirm it is stored outside the app, and keep the password. Avatars, custom backgrounds, App Lock, followed metrics, drafts, and PDF previews are excluded. Redownloading the app does not automatically restore records deleted with the previous installation.
Why is one result missing from a trend?
A result without a date, a non-exact value such as >90, or a different unit is not forced into the same numeric chart. This prevents misleading lines and comparisons.
Does the app upload reports?
No. The current version has no account, backend, advertising, or analytics SDK. Report recognition and parsing run on device. Data leaves the app only when you explicitly use the iOS share sheet.
